This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Creator Scout Pro. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Creator Scout Pro is a subscription billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel. Discovery and manual features remain free and require no subscription.
You can cancel at any time — email support@ideaequity.ai or use the billing link in your Stripe receipt. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current period.
We do not offer money-back guarantees or automatic refunds. Before being charged you can evaluate the product two ways at no cost: a free plan with monthly allowances that needs no card at all, and a 14-day trial of the paid plan with those limits removed — cancelling before day 15 means no charge. Any refund we issue is at our sole discretion, or where required by applicable law. Purchases made before 2026-07-23 remain covered by the guarantee in effect at the time of purchase.
If a feature isn't working, tell us and we'll fix it — email support@ideaequity.ai with the address on your account and what happened. Instagram changes its site often; most breakages are fixed within hours via our remote configuration, without you doing anything. If we can't fix a genuine defect in the Service within a reasonable time, we may — at our discretion — extend your license, credit your account, or refund the affected period.
Because you can cancel anytime (self-serve, from the billing page) and are notified by your payment receipts, renewal charges are non-refundable. If you were charged for a renewal you meant to cancel, contact us promptly and we'll review it in good faith.
Account restrictions are not grounds for a refund. Creator Scout automates actions on a third-party platform, which carries inherent risk to your account regardless of the pacing and caps we provide. A warning, action block, feature limit, or suspension of your social media account is not a defect in the Service and is not eligible for a refund. Please use conservative volumes and only if you accept this risk. See our Terms of Service.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we're quick to help. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your license being deactivated.
